How the System Works.
Four engineered components working together. Each mode rearranges them differently — the system stays the same.
The Core Chassis™ Anchors to Your Body
A padded chassis sits across your pelvis — neoprene against the body, anti-slip backing, contoured to spread pressure evenly. Extending from each side are 10cm-wide load straps engineered to cradle the handles of your weights without rotation.
Forge-Lock Core Clips™ Anchor the Tension Loop
Two 8mm solid steel clips sit at the end of the distal arms. They act as fixed friction pulleys — the V-Tension Cam Bridge™ routes through both clips to form a closed-loop tension system around your load. In Mode 3, they connect to the Iso-Drop Suspension Gear™ for vertical load suspension.
V-Tension Cam Bridge™ Locks Under Load
The cam buckle creates a closed-loop tension system between the two Core Clips. Pull the strap to tighten — infinite micro-adjustment until the load is firmly cradled. Locks tighter under heavier weight.
3 Modes Unlock 7+ Exercises
The Crafter-Lock Waistband™ and Iso-Drop Suspension Gear™ rearrange the system into Mode 1 Tethered, Mode 2 Free Use, or Mode 3 Suspended. The printed Setup Guide in your kit has a QR code to free video tutorials for each mode.

Which weights work in which modes — before you commit, check what fits your training.
One thing to note: Mode 1 and Mode 2 cradle the handle of your weight, so plates without grips work in Mode 3 only — where the load hangs below your body for belt squats, dips, and weighted pull-ups.

Before You Train.

The weight feels uncomfortable on my hips during hip thrust — what now?
Your Cam Bridge is dialed in too tight. The DAY-X is designed for the load to hang slightly below your hip line, not rest on your bones — and that sweet spot is different for every body and every weight.
The safe way to adjust:
- Come down to the seated start position first — never adjust mid-set.
- Loosen the Cam Buckle a small amount.
- Test with one rep. Re-adjust if needed.
- When the weight stops pressing into your hips and feels suspended just below them, you found it.
This applies to Mode 1 Tethered and Mode 2 Free Use hip thrust. Mode 3 Suspended loads below the body, so this isn’t a concern there.
Will this Hip Thrust Belt fit me?
What weights can I use with it?
Dumbbells, kettlebells and plates — compatibility depends on the mode you’re training in.
Olympic plates with handle (2″) work in all 3 modes. Olympic plates without handle and standard 1″ plates work in Mode 3 Suspended only.
